The 100 Day Project

I'm enjoying using Instagram as a tool to document my practice and connect with others, and have signed up for the 100 Day Project, where creatives commit to 100 days of making and sharing their progress online. You set your own creative project, but it needs to be something manageable that you are able to commit a little time to each day. I am currently undertaking an online art course all about 'Alchemy & Creative Practice', so have decided to use this as my focus and have been using a sketchbook (something I rarely do) to make notes, create drawings and to record my dreams.

I hope the project will allow me to understand myself and my work on a deeper level and that this knowledge will then inspire some larger creations. The idea of Alchemy is one I still don't fully grasp, but at its core it’s about the process transformation and the interconnectedness of all living things, which weaves in elements of spirit, body, soul, sacredness, nature and art.
