Testimonials

  • It was a great privilege to be allowed to share in Laura’s very personal journals and she was an inspiring and very generous tutor. Thank you so much Laura.

  • Liked the demonstrations and lots of ideas to think about and try. Think the workshop will help me to relax and enjoy making art, liked the whole concept of experimenting and playing - simplified the process for me. Thorough enjoyed and has given me plenty to think about going forward on my art journey.

  • I just loved the way Laura made it seem so easy and uncomplicated - I’m hoping this will give me the freedom to try to experiment more and to just enjoy making art and being more open and expressive without worrying about the finished product.

  • The mix of practical work with information about materials and techniques was great. Lots of advice about possible approaches and ways of thinking about work. I particularly found the writing/reflection prompts useful - I haven’t incorporated this into my practice before but will use it from now on as I can see how it helps you analyse your work.
